About Us

Established in 2019, The Well Experience is a 501(c)(3) community organization that provides services that Heal, Engage, Restore and Empower historically disadvantaged, marginalized, and oppressed populations in our communities, with focused support for women and children.

Light & Liberation is a healing-centered 501(c)(3) organization that operates through The Well Experience, its public-facing DBA, to provide culturally responsive support, advocacy, education, and wellness opportunities for women, children, and families using nontraditional healing-centered methods which include many forms of art. Together, the Well Family Care program was born as a core family support initiative within this model, the organization delivers wraparound and behavioral health-centered services that strengthen family stability, address trauma, and promote long-term well-being, academic support, art therapy, and so much more! This structure allows the organization to pair strong administrative oversight with trusted, community-rooted service delivery, creating a unified model that is both relational and sustainable.

 

Our methods and processes are informed by evidence-based practices and data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships with families, volunteers, community leaders, and organizations and make a positive impact on all of our pursuits.
